Job summary

Stone Security, a BearCom family member, seeks a Support Technician to install and support security systems. You will respond to routine and after-hours service calls, diagnose issues, and perform repairs with Milestone, LenelS2, and DMP platforms. Expect cross-training and collaboration on projects, with a focus on preventative maintenance.

The role emphasizes hands-on hardware installation, site checks, and timely problem resolution for evolving client needs.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience installing network camera systems (Milestone, Axis, Hanwha and Bosch).
• Three years of experience installing security systems (DMP and Bosch).
• Three years of experience installing access control systems (Lenel and S2).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven track record of leading a security installation team.

Responsibilities

• Install and support security systems and respond to routine and some non-routine service calls in a timely manner.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective parts; troubleshoot systems for routine problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance for installed systems and complete projects as needed.
• Install projects and cross-train with other specialists to service existing customers.
• Carry out technical assistance and systems checkout of new and existing installations.
