Job summary

Stone Security, a BearCom company, is seeking a Project Technician to install, program, and start up security systems on assigned projects.

You will wire, install hardware, test systems, train customers, and ensure compliance with company standards; travel is required for on-site installations and customer instruction.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience installing network camera systems (Milestone, Axis, Hanwha and Bosch).
• Three years of experience installing security systems (DMP and Bosch).
• Three years of experience installing access control systems (Lenel and S2).

Responsibilities

• Install, program, system start-up/check-out, certify, and customer training on assigned projects.
• Runs wiring, installs hardware, and field terminate all devices.
• Inspects and tests systems, batteries, and wiring; adjusts and repairs as required.
• Replaces malfunctioning hardware when necessary.
• Ensures installations comply with Stone Security Standards.
• Travel is required.
• Familiar with blueprints, schematics, manuals to determine installation procedures unassisted.
• Performs other related duties as required.
