Job summary

Stone Brewing in Pasadena is seeking a Taproom Crew Lead to guide Crew Members, deliver exceptional fan service, and uphold our taproom standards. You will manage opening/closing, deposits, and guest relations while acting as a brand ambassador.

You will lead the team, coach on duties, and ensure accurate service of beer and merchandise. The role requires strong public speaking skills and prior supervisory experience, with a focus on safety and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or key holder experience in beverage/retail.
• Experience with cash handling and POS systems preferred.
• Public speaking skills are essential.
• Cicerone Certified Beer Server or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional fan service to guests and fans.
• Manage opening and closing procedures, including register duties.
• Lead the team, delegate tasks, and coach on duties and sales.
• Represent management in addressing inquiries from guests and vendors.
• Serve beer, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks per standards.

Success as a Taproom Crew Lead involves staying updated on industry standards, maintaining the taproom's visual appeal, and showcasing its beer offerings.**What You'll Do*** Deliver exceptional fan service to all stakeholders in every interaction.* Manage opening and closing procedures for the Taproom, including register maintenance and securing the premises.* Lead the team under management guidance, delegating tasks and coaching on duties, projects, and sales.* Act as a representative of management, addressing inquiries and concerns from Team Members, fans, and vendors.* Serve beer, brewed cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks according to company standards.* Execute opening and closing duties as per company training.* Handle deposits and reservations for beer purchases.* Organize and conduct brewery tours, including public speaking engagements.* Maintain visual standards by stocking merchandise and beer inventory appropriately.* Ensure Taproom cleanliness and sanitation, including general cleaning and sanitizing, while adhering to health and safety regulations.* Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.## What We Ask For*Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.** High School Diploma or GED.* At least 2 years of supervisory or key holder experience, preferably in a beverage or retail environment* At least 2 years of related experience and/or training, preferably in a beverage or retail environment.* Must have cash handling experience, preferably with a POS system.* POS system experience is strongly preferred.
