Job summary

Kirkland's Home is seeking a Stock Team Member to assist with freight flow, backroom organization, and salesfloor replenishment. You will apply urgency and accuracy to ensure shipments are processed timely and store standards are maintained.

Responsibilities include handling merchandise receipt, markdowns, and customer-facing tasks while adhering to company policies and dress code. Physical ability to lift and move bulky items is required.

Qualifications

• No experience necessary, stock experience preferred.
• Energetic, results oriented and competitive with a drive to succeed.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and evenings.
• Ability to read and interpret company directives, Handbook and Manuals.
• Ability to work a schedule to meet the business needs of the store (early mornings/off hours).
• Ability to lift and move 45 pounds or more regularly.
• Ability to climb ladders and move bulky merchandise.
• Stooping, bending, climbing and lifting to stock and retrieve merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the receipt of merchandise in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain an efficient and organized stockroom.
• Assist in assembling products, executing markdowns and salesfloor replenishment.
• Support driving profitable sales and protecting company assets.
• Take personal accountability for individual performance.
• Treat customers with respect and support branding via dress code.
• Support company initiatives and show initiative to process shipments timely.
• Report to shift with a professional, positive attitude; uphold Kirkland's Home Values.
