Job summary

Kirkland's is seeking a Stock Team Member to assist with freight flow, backroom organization, and salesfloor replenishment. The role emphasizes a high level of organization and urgency to ensure timely processing of shipments.

Responsibilities include receiving merchandise, maintaining an organized stockroom, executing markdowns, and supporting store objectives while upholding brand standards and customer service on the sales floor.

Qualifications

• No experience required; stock experience preferred.
• Energetic, results oriented with a drive to succeed.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Able to work weekends, holidays and evenings.
• Able to lift and move 45 pounds or more, climb ladders, and handle bulky merchandise.
• Must adhere to store directives and dress code.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the process of the receipt of all merchandise in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain an efficient and organized stockroom.
• Assist in assembling product, executing markdowns and salesfloor replenishment.
• Provide support for driving profitable sales, protecting company assets and support of the Company Handbook during shifts.
• Takes personal accountability for individual performance.
• When entering the salesfloor, treat customers with respect and professionalism; adhere to brand standards.
• Maintain commitment and support for company initiatives.
• Take initiative to ensure shipments are processed promptly.
• Report to shift with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Demonstrate commitment to Kirkland's Home Values.
