Job summary

FAO Schwarz is seeking a Back of House Lead to drive stockroom operations, replenishment, and team leadership in a fast-paced retail environment. You’ll own the product journey from receiving to on-floor availability and make commercial decisions to prioritize high-margin, high-velocity items.

You’ll coach the Back of House team, ensure accurate shipment processing, and maintain a safe, organized stockroom that supports a world-class guest experience across the store floor and back office

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in a Back of House supervisory role in fast-paced premium retail.
• Strong inventory management and shrink mitigation experience.
• Proven leadership and coaching skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Own the product journey from receiving to floor replenishment.
• Lead ship from store operations end to end with accuracy and pace.
• Maintain stockroom that mirrors the sales floor for quick replenishment.
• Drive replenishment with a guest-first mindset to avoid stockouts.
• Collaborate with VIP and Experience teams during events to ensure availability.
• Oversee opening/closing of stockrooms and back office areas.
