Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a part-time Truck unloading and Stocking team member at the Berlin, CT store. You will unload trucks, stock shelves, and keep the store well-merchandised to meet brand promises. The role requires interacting with customers and supporting store operations.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, processing transactions, promoting rewards programs, and supporting omnichannel services like BOPIS and Ship From Store. Weekend and night shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop and find what they’re looking for.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience and handle cash to standards.
• Complete truck unloading and merchandise duties and maintain store recovery standards.
• Cross-sell rewards and credit card programs and enroll customers where appropriate.
• Assist with omnichannel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.
