Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Riverside, IL is seeking a fast, detail-oriented Store Associate to support the Merchandising Team. Responsibilities include unloading trucks at 12am on Fridays, stocking the sales floor over the weekend, and assisting customers with locating products and solutions.

You will provide a fast and friendly checkout experience, handle cash to standards, enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Card programs, and participate in BOPIS and Ship From Store processes.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods.
• Lifting heavy boxes and reaching high shelves.
• Frame shop equipment (glass cutter/heat press) relevance is noted.

Responsibilities

• Unload the truck and stock the sales floor Friday overnights and weekend mornings.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience with cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Assist with BOPIS and Ship From Store (SFS) Omni channel processes.
• Maintain stock, planograms, store recovery and safety procedures.
