Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Middletown, OH is seeking a part-time Service Team Member to unload trucks, stock merchandise, and assist customers on the floor. You will ensure a fast, friendly checkout and promote the Rewards program while supporting omnichannel initiatives.

Responsibilities include in-store merchandising, planograms, and contributing to store recovery and safety programs. Evening and weekend shifts are common; prior retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and performing physical tasks such as lifting/stock handling.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop the store.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience with proper cash handling.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Support omnichannel initiatives like Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Maintain store recovery standards and participate in SISO and AD set duties.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs and company policies.
