Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience and one year of management.
• Ability to communicate to a team and provide clear direction.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information to inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise team members in day-to-day store operations.
• Mentor and coach team members and enforce training and development.
• Staffing, hiring and promotion considerations to meet staffing needs.
• Manage P&L, drive sales, and maintain shrink within department.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and a safe, clean store environment.
• Lead with Meijer Friendly Initiative in team meetings and operations.
