Responsibilities

• Engage peers to provide the best shopping experience for customers, including checkout interactions.
• Communicate with team members and assign daily tasks.
• Mentor and coach team members to exceed service and sales goals.
• Assist in training and cross-training, coaching peers for productivity.
• Assist with department scheduling to enhance engagement and profitability.
• Ensure product freshness by proper rotation and dating.
• Maintain food safety standards and safe work practices.
• Lead ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing and displays where applicable.
• Step in as Lead in other departments as needed.
