Job summary

Michaels is hiring at Hart-Enfield, CT to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and ensure fast checkout. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, planograms, and store recovery to keep an in-stock, well-merchandised store.

Responsibilities include guiding customers through rewards, Private Label Credit Card enrollments, and Omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS. The role requires availability for evenings, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store
• Work hours include nights, weekends and early mornings

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on rewards programs and complete enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS/SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise in-stock condition
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Interact in a respectful, positive manner and model Michaels values
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
