Apploi is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, while supporting daily living activities and mobility. You will monitor health changes, participate in staff development, and ensure a clean, safe environment according to best practices.

You will record accurate notes, assist with care plans, and collaborate with the nursing team to deliver high-quality care while honoring residents' rights and preferences.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current State Tested Nursing Assistant license.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and facility guidelines.
• Willingness to supervise and educate other staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist residents with daily living activities such as toileting and mobility.
• Monitor residents' conditions and report changes to the nursing team.
• Participate in staff development and orientation programs.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and ensure equipment is maintained.
• Follow safety and sanitation protocols.
• Record entries on flow sheets and charts accurately.
• Support other personnel to ensure adequate nursing services.
• Review care plans daily and communicate changes to supervisors.
• Honor residents' rights and document decisions.
