Job summary

East Park is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate direct care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will assist with daily living activities and monitor residents, reporting changes to the nursing team.

You will supervise STNAs and other staff, participate in training, and help maintain a safe, clean environment while following all policies and procedures. English proficiency and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a State Tested Nursing Assistant in this state
• Ability to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of residents
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Must be a supportive team member and promote teamwork and a team concept
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when necessary
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist residents with daily living activities
• Monitor residents' conditions and report changes to the nursing team
• Supervise and educate STNAs and other facility personnel on policies and procedures
• Participate in staff development activities and orientation programs
• Maintain a clean and safe environment following safety and sanitation protocols
• Ensure equipment and supplies are properly maintained and used
• Review care plans daily and inform supervisors of changes
