Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and supervisor directions. The role requires attention to detail, patient safety, and compassionate interaction with residents across shifts.

You will identify residents, record care activities, and report changes promptly while maintaining confidentiality and following facility policies. Hospital or facility experience is preferred; CPR certification may be requested.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a 10th grade education.
• CNA license is required by law.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials.
• Ability to write reports, correspondence, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before treatments or meals using wristbands or photo IDs.
• Record entries clearly on flow sheets and charts.
• Report changes in residents’ condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report any disclosures.
• Assist with daily resident activities and coordinate care with staff.
• Observe and report injuries or skin issues and prevent decubitus ulcers.
