Job summary

PACS is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with assessment and care plans. You will identify residents, record observations, assist with daily activities, and maintain a safe, respectful environment under supervision.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, adherence to care protocols, and collaboration with nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care. CPR preferred; state CNA license required.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a 10th grade education.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents with wristbands before administering treatments or meals.
• Report changes in resident condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes and charts in an informative, descriptive manner.
• Assist residents with daily functions and personal care per care plan.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and comply with safety procedures.
