Job summary

THE BRITISH RED CROSS SOCIETY is seeking a Stewardship Manager to lead a supporter-led stewardship programme across UK channels. You will design, manage and implement donor journeys and ensure alignment with fundraising needs.

You will coordinate briefs for the development team and drive data-driven improvements while ensuring GDPR compliance and strong stakeholder collaboration. You will manage a small team of executives, report on income and KPIs, and lead the Emergency Appeal efforts.

Qualifications

• Proven track-record of hitting financial targets and fundraising KPIs in a community fundraising environment.
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and audiences to tight deadlines.
• Ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and external partners for productive collaboration on projects.
• Experience delivering multi-channel stewardship campaigns with personalised approaches based on customer segments.
• Experience managing a team in a fast-paced and demanding environment, helping them overcome challenges and achieve targets.
• Experience inspiring, motivating and managing volunteers, fundraisers and groups to deliver income targets.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage, review and implement our multi-channel stewardship journey across email, calling, social media and direct mail.
• Manage and enhance our platforms.
• Bridge strategy and execution by coordinating briefs for the development team and aligning design, content and assets.
• Drive continuous improvement through testing and optimisation of journeys with KPI reviews and industry benchmarks.
• Shape strategic journeys to secure immediate revenue and long-term growth; lead cross-functional project teams to hit deadlines.
• Line manage 3 executives.
• Take ownership of income reporting, pipeline management and core stewardship KPIs; track donor satisfaction and value metrics.
• Lead Emergency Appeal activities and ensure readiness to respond at short notice.
