Blood Cancer United seeks a Manager, Donor Communications to lead donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship messaging for mid-level, major, and transformational gifts, partnering with the Stewardship & Communications team and leadership across Philanthropy and Mission.

The role develops messaging strategies that communicate donor impact, strengthen donor trust, and drive fundraising priorities, while guiding materials, reviews, and cross‑functional collaboration to deepen donor engagement

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree; nonprofit management, communications, or fundraising coursework a plus.
• 5-7 years of progressively responsible related experience in donor communications, donor stewardship, or major gifts in a nonprofit organization.
• Experience writing about complex medical and scientific content for a lay audience.
• Experience with design and formatting, aligning with organizational brand standards.
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite; experience in Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, and Canva a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Write cultivation materials, impact reports and collateral for donor activities.
• Own voice and messaging from Executive Leadership to high-level donors.
• Develop decks, speaking points, video scripts, acknowledgements and other materials for donor relationships.
• Liaise with enterprise partners on projects and position our value proposition to donors.
• Drive reviews/approvals of materials.
• Provide strategic guidance and develop resources connecting donor interests with impact.
• Build and maintain relationships with Mission teams to reflect priorities in materials.
• Develop systems, templates and libraries for donor communications.
• Improve processes to enhance quality, consistency and efficiency.
• Track and evaluate program metrics to inform strategy.
