Hyatt Hotels Corporation in Chicago is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to lead a diverse team and oversee the cleanliness of all hotel china, silverware, and cookware used for events. You will ensure compliance with health and safety standards and coordinate inventory across hotel areas.

You will collaborate with kitchen and banquet teams in a fast-paced environment, maintain organization of kitchen spaces, and support the stewarding manager. Flexible schedule including evenings is required.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy others in a fast paced environment.
• 1-2 years of food & beverage experience in banquet setting preferred.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate amount of weight (10-50 pounds).
• Capable of standing and walking for long periods.
• Strong supervisory skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead a diverse team of colleagues and supervise cleanliness of all hotel china, silverware, and cookware.
• Attend weekly meetings for accuracy of hotel events and audit kitchen and F&B areas.
• Maintain organization & cleanliness of kitchen spaces and ensure Health Department inspections readiness.
• Assist stewarding manager with inventory accuracy across hotel areas.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen and banquet departments to meet food safety protocols.
• Deliver China, silverware, cookware, and food for events in a timely manner and replenish as needed.
