Job summary

Sodexo Live! is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to lead the stewarding crew and support the culinary team across events. This role focuses on supervising non-food production areas, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring proper inventory control in a fast-paced venue environment.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of supervisory experience in food service, strong teamwork, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. The position offers hands-on leadership with the Sodexo Live! Travel Team.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience in food service preferred.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong teamwork and cross-department collaboration.
• Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on supervision and support the Executive Steward in day-to-day operations.
• Ensure adequate staff coverage and delegate duties.
• Inspect tasks and assignments of Stewards.
• Assist with convention, catering and game day events.
• Assist in plating meals and delivering to banquet areas.
• Maintain communication within the kitchen staff.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained.
• Conduct regular equipment inspections.
• Monitor temperatures of dish machines, coolers and freezers.
• Ensure food holding and transport equipment is functional.
