Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor for our Phoenix property. You will supervise a team of Steward Colleagues responsible for banquet backup, supplying china, silverware, glassware and other vessels, and ensuring cleanliness across kitchen and food & beverage areas.

The role requires standing for long periods, a flexible schedule including evenings and holidays, and prior supervisory or stewarding experience. Proficiency in English and basic computer skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Steward Colleagues handling banquet backup and service support.
• Oversee supplying china, silverware, glassware and other food/beverage vessels.
• Stock and push hot boxes for events and banquets.
• Coordinate dishwashing across all kitchen areas.
• Maintain overall cleanliness of Kitchen and Food & Beverage areas.

The Role

The Stewarding Supervisor is primarily responsible for assisting to supervise a team of Steward Colleagues who are responsible for banquet back up, supplying china, silverware, glassware and other food/beverage vessels; stocking and pushing hot boxes; dishwashing from all kitchen areas and overall cleanliness of Kitchen and Food & Beverage areas of the hotel.
