Job summary

Hyatt is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to oversee a team of Steward Colleagues responsible for banquet back up, supplying china, silverware, glassware and other food/beverage vessels. The role includes stocking hot boxes and overall dishwashing across kitchen areas, with focus on maintaining cleanliness in Kitchen and Food & Beverage spaces.

The incumbent will supervise and train staff, ensuring efficient operations, adherence to standards, and a safe working environment in a fast-paced hotel

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years Stewarding, Culinary, Janitorial, or related experience.
• Desire to excel and train for management level positions.
• Flexibility to work holidays, weekends.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours minimum.
• Ability to lift and push equipment at various weight levels.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Steward Colleagues who support banquet back up, supply china, silverware, glassware and other food/beverage vessels.
• Stock and push hot boxes; assist with dishwashing from all kitchen areas.
• Ensure overall cleanliness of Kitchen and Food & Beverage areas of the hotel.

The Stewarding Supervisor is primarily responsible for assisting to supervise a team of Steward Colleagues who are responsible for banquet back up, supplying china, silverware, glassware and other food/beverage vessels; stocking and pushing hot boxes; dishwashing from all kitchen areas and overall cleanliness of Kitchen and Food & Beverage areas of the hotel.
