Grand Traverse Resort and Spa in Michigan seeks a Stewarding Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations, ensure sanitation standards, and supervise staff across functions. You will monitor equipment, support banquets, and participate in purchasing and budgeting activities.

The role requires a college degree or equivalent in F&B/Stewarding management and at least two years of management experience in Food & Beverage, with strong communication and customer-service skills.

• College degree or equivalent in F&B/Stewarding management.
• Minimum 2 years management experience in Food & Beverage.
• Supervisory experience in hospitality preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lead staff and manage schedules.
• Ability to follow sanitation and health codes.

Mansioni

• Direct Stewarding staff in day to day operations.
• Manage departmental workload through proper delegation of work.
• Monitor and maintain equipment.
• Involved in food and beverage recycling program.
• Maintain sanitation levels through walk through inspections following health codes.
• Aim to achieve budgeted figures where applicable.
• Assist in purchasing cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Coordinate with Banquet Chef on plating, chaffer, and dish needs for each function.
• Provide plating staff at banquet functions.
• Report/schedule pest control issues.
• Attend daily BEO meetings.
• Attend weekly resume meetings.
• Comply with environmental practices of the resort.
• Other duties as assigned.
