Job summary

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Dominican Republic at Tropicalia is seeking a Stewarding Manager to lead all stewarding operations for our pre-opening team. Reporting to the Executive Chef, this role ensures safe, sanitary, organized kitchens and back-of-house spaces across the resort.

You will recruit, train and develop the stewarding staff, manage inventories and par levels, and coordinate with Culinary, Purchasing, Receiving, Engineering, Finance and People and Culture to sustain premium

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of progressive stewarding experience in a hotel, resort or high-volume operation.
• Experience supervising a large team and managing inventories and costs.
• Fluency in Spanish; English knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily stewarding operations across all kitchens, restaurants, bars and back-of-house spaces.
• Develop cleaning schedules, SOPs, storage organization and inventories.
• Recruit, train and coach stewarding staff; promote teamwork and safety.
• Ensure proper cleaning, sanitation, storage and handling of china, glassware and equipment.
• Monitor par levels and costs for operating equipment; identify breakage and replacement needs.
• Coordinate stewarding coverage for restaurants, banquets and high-volume events.
• Collaborate with Culinary, Purchasing, Receiving, Engineering, Finance and People & Culture.
