Job summary

Evans Hotels’ Bahia Resort Hotel in San Diego is seeking a Stewarding Manager to lead and train the stewarding department, ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation in kitchens and related areas. You will work with the Executive Chef and banquet leaders to support daily operations, staffing, and service standards.

The role requires 2–4 years of stewarding leadership in hospitality, shifting, scheduling, and problem‑solving skills.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years progressive stewarding leadership experience, preferably in high-volume environments.
• Experience running a shift, scheduling, performance management, and day-to-day operations in hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Convey a professional image and ensure cleanliness/sanitation in kitchens and related areas.
• Coordinate staffing, payroll, recruitment, sanitation records, and safety meetings.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and maintaining departmental standards and training programs.
• Oversee Stewarding operations across multiple venues and coordinate with Culinary/Banquet teams.
• Recruit, train, and mentor staff to maintain high performance and service orientation.
