Job summary

You will oversee a large team, enforce health and safety regulations, and partner with culinary and operations leaders to deliver exceptional guest experiences. The role requires proven stewarding leadership and a commitment to quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of stewarding experience in a high-volume hotel or resort.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience managing stewarding teams.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, HACCP principles, and health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead stewarding team across multiple outlets and banquet venues.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, organization, and safety in kitchen and service areas.
• Oversee warewashing and ensure china, glassware, flatware, cookware, and equipment are ready for daily operations.
• Manage inventories of chemicals, cleaning supplies, smallwares, and stewarding equipment.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef, Banquet Chef, Restaurant Managers, Engineering, and F&B leadership to support guest experiences.
• Develop staffing plans for large conventions, weddings, and events.
• Ensure proper waste handling, storage, and disposal.
• Monitor labor productivity and departmental expenses while upholding service standards.
• Conduct training on sanitation, chemical handling, equipment operation, and workplace safety.
• Maintain preventive maintenance programs for stewarding equipment and coordinate repairs with Engineering.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and accountable team culture.
