Sodexo Live! is seeking a Stewarding Manager to oversee the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. You will lead the Stewarding Department, maintain sanitation standards, and support inventory and upkeep of banquet items such as silver, china, glassware, and linen.

Reporting to the Executive Steward, you will supervise Stewarding staff, coordinate workflow in the kitchen, and ensure safe, efficient operations during events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1+ years of supervisory or lead experience in a food and beverage, hotel, or venue-based environment.
• Previous stewarding or kitchen utility experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards; familiarity with Health Department requirements.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to effectively support a diverse team.
• Appropriate combination of education and experience to support on-the-job effectiveness.

Responsabilités

• Assist in managing the Stewarding Department staff to ensure effective and efficient support of overall culinary and food & beverage operations.
• Maintain health, safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards throughout Stewarding areas.
• Support inventory control, storage, and distribution of supplies; assist in monitoring kitchen and Stewarding equipment for proper maintenance.
• Actively participate in training, scheduling, and supervising Stewarding team members.
• Contribute to the goal of 100% customer satisfaction by supporting culinary operations and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and service excellence.
