Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an Executive Steward for the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, IN. The role leads the Stewarding Department, ensuring top-quality cleanliness, storage, and equipment care while coordinating with the Culinary Leadership Team.

Responsibilities include managing a diverse team, maintaining efficient workflow, and supporting the overall food and beverage operation to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2 years of management experience in stewarding or related area.
• 2 years of related experience in foodservice operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Stewarding Department to support the kitchen and service teams.
• Oversee dish room, storage, and utility areas with focus on cleanliness.
• Own inventory, organization, and distribution of non-food items.
• Ensure equipment maintenance and safe working conditions.
• Partner with Culinary Leadership and maintain staff performance.
