Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Banquet Supervisor at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. You will provide on-site leadership for banquet and catered events, overseeing Banquet Captains and Banquet Servers to ensure delivery per BEOs, service standards, and client expectations.

Ideal candidates bring 2–4 years of banquet or food and beverage supervisory experience, plus POS knowledge and alcohol-service training.

Qualifications

High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
2–4 years of banquet, catering, or food and beverage service experience.
Prior supervisory or leadership experience in banquet or event operations.
Age requirements to serve alcohol as per local/state law.
Working knowledge of POS systems and event service processes.
TIPs (TIPS) or TEAM alcohol training or equivalent.
Food handler certification may be required based on location.

Responsibilities

Monitor event setup, service execution, and breakdown for quality and efficiency.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
Other duties may be assigned per client requirements.
