Job summary

Caesars Entertainment is seeking a diligent dishwasher to support our busy kitchen. You will prepare tableware for washing, load and operate the dishwasher, ensure proper temperatures and detergents, and keep all areas clean and organized.

Responsibilities include scraping and pre-soaking dishes, stacking clean wares, removing garbage, sweeping and mopping floors, and assisting with sanitation throughout service hours. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwashing experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes plates, pre-soaks silver, and loads items into the washer.
• Maintains clean work areas, cleans equipment, and disposes of garbage.
• Mops, sweeps, and sanitizes kitchen spaces and walls as needed.

Prepares tableware for washing, i.e., scrapes plates, pre‑soak silver, places all items to be washed in their proper rack. Sets up dishwashing machine, i.e., drains closed, tanks filled, temperatures at correct level, detergents at proper level.Washes dishes and then stacks and stores china in appropriate kitchen area. Thoroughly cleans dishwashing equipment and working areas. Collects all soiled pots, washes and restacks cleaned pots on shelves. Responsible for all removal of garbage and refuse. Mops and sweeps floors. Washes walls and ceiling tiles. Sanitizes all cooking equipment.

Maintains upbeat, positive attitude, friendly and helpful demeanor, positive energy and enthusiasm from one interaction to the next. Utilizes smiles and frequent eye contact and friendly tone of voice to project warmth and friendliness. Promotes Caesars and always projects Caesars in a positive light to guests
