Job summary

Tributer Resort in Mineral, Virginia, is seeking a friendly Steward/Dishwasher to support our food and beverage team. You will wash dishes, sanitize surfaces, and help with basic prep while keeping the kitchen clean and organized.

This role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexible availability including weekends and holidays; prior kitchen experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using manual and automatic dishwashing methods
• Clean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment
• Collect and dispose of trash, recycling, and food waste according to restaurant procedures
• Assist with receiving and organizing kitchen deliveries and supplies
• Ensure all cleaning and sanitation supplies are stocked and stored properly
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area and back-of-house areas at all times
• Follow safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations as required by local laws
• Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic prep tasks when needed
• Report any maintenance or equipment issues to the supervisor
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service

Position Overview:

Our food and beverage team atCutalongat Tributer Resort isseekinga friendly, efficient, and customer-oriented Steward/Dishwasherto join our team. The Stewardis responsible formaintainingcleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, washing dishes and kitchen utensils, andassistingwith basic food prep and inventory organization as needed. This role is crucial to ensuring a safe and efficient kitchen operation.

Salary: $16 - $20 per hour (hourly)
