Job summary

Parx Casino is seeking team members to maintain cleanliness in kitchen and restaurant areas, assist with dishwashing and stock management, and support culinary and service staff with a positive, proactive attitude.

The role requires flexibility, ability to lift and move items, and willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. Benefits and team environment are highlighted in the posting.

Qualifications

• Must be polite, courteous and willing to pitch in and help others as directed.
• Must be capable of walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting varying weights during an 8 hour shift.
• Must be able to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to comprehend spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of food & beverage areas.
• Ensure supplies are stocked and available for culinary and restaurant staff.
• Gathers and removes trash from kitchen and restaurant areas.
• Load dishwashers and manage clean dishware, silverware, and cookware.
• Stock carts and transport supplies to outlets.
• Assist with general duties as assigned.

Maintains the cleanliness of food & beverage operations asassigned. Ensures that supplies are in place to enable culinary andrestaurant staff to prepare food and deliver outstanding service tocustomers. Consistently observe all Company service and operating standards.

• Gathers and removes trash from kitchen and restaurant areas(including closets, walk-ins, storage areas, hallways, etc.) as assigned.
• Fills dishwashers as required to ensure that outlets have agood supply of clean dishes, silverware, pots, pans, and other supplies.
• Polishes silver and glassware as directed.
• Cleans, sweeps and/or mops floors in kitchen and restaurantareas (including closets, walk-ins, storage areas, hallways,etc.), and cleans and repositions safety mats correctly as directed.
• Clean kitchen or restaurant equipment as assigned. Clean drystorage and walls as necessary.
• Stocks carts with items like ice, paper products, foodproducts, glassware and silverware.
• Transports stocked carts to assigned outlets.
• All deliveries stored correctly and secured.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be polite, courteous, and willing to pitch in and helpothers as directed.
• Must be capable of walking, bending, pushing, pulling, andlifting many different tools and pieces of equipment of varyingweights during a full eight (8) hour shift.
• Must be able to work all shifts, and weekends/holidays as required.
• Must be able to comprehend spoken English.
