Parx Casino is seeking a bartender to create and serve beverages with style while maintaining cleanliness and efficiency on the casino floor. You will interact with guests, take orders, and ensure excellent service during shifts.

The role requires strong communication, knowledge of drink preparations, and adherence to company policies, including responsible alcohol service. Employment offers benefits and a team-oriented environment.

Competenze

High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
Must be able to maintain engaging conversations with customers during each transaction.
Must be polite, courteous and willing to pitch in and help others as directed.

Mansioni

Fulfills beverage order requests at the bar, at a service bar, or other areas as assigned. Garnish all drinks correctly.
Card any customer who looks 30 years or younger. Follow Company procedure with respect to Responsible Gaming/Alcohol Service.
Prepares drinks and dispenses liquor in accordance with established recipes and procedures to minimize waste and control costs.
Cleans and maintains the bar area on a continual basis throughout the assigned shift.
Complete all set-up and break-down work.
Maintains up to date knowledge of bar service trends and mixology; report trends to Beverage Manager.

Creates a fun and relaxing environment for customers bypreparing and serving beverages with style and sophistication, or bysupporting cocktail servers who are directly providing beverageservice to our gaming customers on the casino floor. Consistentlyadheres to all Company service and operating standards.

Completes stocking duties and side work as assigned.
Maintains up to date knowledge of bar service trends and ofmixology. Report prevailing trends, both internal and external, toBeverage Manager. Full knowledge of glassware, prices, exotic cocktails.
Operates and cleans ice machine, pouring gun, and otherbeverage equipment as part of regular job duties.
No more than two (2) butts in an ashtray before it is changed.
Works collegially with supervisors, cocktail servers, barporters, and other bartenders to prepare and serve drinks quicklyand courteously.
Understands, complies with, and enforces all alcohol awarenessprocedures and relevant laws.
Performs cashiering duties, and utilizes established cash/compprocedures. Responsible for bank.
Adheres to established P.O.S procedures and pricing structurefor every drink order.
Follows established company and departmental appearancestandards, including uniform, hygiene, and general appearanceguidelines, at all times.
Handles customer complaints, and, if necessary, solicitsinvolvement and support from supervisor.
Performs tasks in accordance with all relevant sanitation andsafety laws and regulations.
Develop and maintain an up to date knowledge of all Companyevents and promotions and be able to answer guests questions accordingly
Performs all other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills

High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. Must be able tomaintain engaging conversations with customers during eachtransaction. Must be polite, courteous and willing to pitch in andhelp others as directed.
Must have a strong set of communication skills.
Must be capable of standing, walking, bending, pushing,pulling, lifting, squatting, kneeling, and gripping tools for afull eight (8) hour shift.
Capable of communicating in English (both verbal and written communication).
