Parx Casino in Bucks County, PA is seeking a friendly Beverage Server to create a welcoming atmosphere at the bar. You will take drink orders, prepare beverages, and ensure accuracy while upholding all safety and service standards.

This role requires strong communication and the ability to stand for long periods; experience with cash handling and knowledge of cocktails is a plus. Parx Casino offers benefits and a team-focused environment.

Creates a fun and relaxing environment for guests by preparing andserving beverages with style and sophistication. Consistently adheresto all Company service and operating standards.

• Fulfills beverage order requests at the bar and garnishes alldrinks correctly.
• Card any customer who looks 30 years or younger. Follows Companyprocedure with respect to alcohol service.
• Prepares drinks and dispenses liquor in accordance withestablished recipes and procedures to minimize waste and control costs.
• Cleans and maintains the bar area on a continual basis throughoutthe assigned shift.
• Complete all set-up and break-down work.
• Completes stocking duties and side work as assigned.
• Maintains up to date knowledge of bar service trends and mixology.Must have full knowledge of glassware, prices, and exotic cocktails.
• Operates and cleans ice machine, pouring gun, and other beverageequipment as part of regular job duties.
• Understands, complies with, and enforces all alcohol awarenessprocedures and relevant laws.
• Performs cashiering duties and adheres to established pricingstructure for every drink order.
• Follows established company and departmental appearance standards,including uniform, hygiene, and general appearance guidelines, atall times.
• Handles customer complaints, and, if necessary, solicitsinvolvement and support from supervisor.
• Performs tasks in accordance with all relevant sanitation andsafety laws and regulations.
• Develops and maintains an up-to-date knowledge of all Companyevents and promotions and be able to answer guests questions accordingly.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Must be able to maintain engaging conversations with customersduring each transaction.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Must be capable of standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling,lifting, squatting, kneeling, and gripping tools for a full 8-hour shift.
• Capable of communicating in English (both verbal and writtencommunication).
