Job Summary

The STEW/PMU AV Tech - Student Services will assist in the setup/tear-down, operation, and maintenance of audio-visual equipment during conferences, seminars, and events held at the Stewart Center and Purdue Memorial Union. This role is ideal for students with an interest in technology, event management, or communication, providing hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and breakdown of AV equipment for events held in the Stewart Center and Purdue Memorial Union, including projectors, microphones, sound systems, and video conferencing tools.
• Support troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that arise during events.
• Coordinate with event organizers and speakers to ensure AV requirements are met.
• Provide on-site support to presenters and participants for any AV-related needs.
• Maintain inventory of AV equipment and report any damages or malfunctions.
• Assist in the general upkeep of the AV storage and work areas.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on the latest AV technologies and best practices.
