Job summary

Steven Automotive Group in Harrisonburg, VA is seeking an Express Technician to perform routine maintenance, oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections. You will work with experienced technicians and receive training that supports growth within the service department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous automotive maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and routine maintenance services.
• Complete multi-point vehicle inspections.
• Check and top off vehicle fluids.
• Inspect tires, brakes, batteries, belts, and filters.
• Install wiper blades, air filters, and other maintenance items.
• Maintain accurate repair orders and inspection documentation.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow manufacturer repair procedures and dealership policies.
• Assist senior technicians as needed.
• Deliver high-quality workmanship and outstanding customer service.

We are currently seeking motivated and dependable Express Technicians to join our growing Service Department.

About the Role

As an Express Technician, you will perform routine maintenance services that keep our customers safely on the road. You will work alongside experienced technicians while gaining valuable hands-on experience and manufacturer training that can lead to advancement within our Service Department.

All technicians are eligible for a production bonus paid at time and one-half (1.5x) their flat-rate pay based on productivity!!

The ideal candidate is dependable, eager to learn, and takes pride in providing quality workmanship.
