Job summary

MCCORDS VANCOUVER AUTO CENTER INC is seeking an Express Maintenance Technician to perform basic maintenance and light repairs on customer vehicles, including tires, brakes, oil changes, alignments, and more. This hourly position emphasizes safe, efficient workmanship in a fast-paced shop.

You should have 1–2 years of auto tech experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.

Service Technician-Express Hrly (Maintenance)

Compensation: $19.25-$24.00 hourly, depending on experience

Summary:
The Express Maintenance Technician performs basic maintenance and light repairs on customer vehicles, including flat repairs, tires, alignments, brakes, spark plugs, coolant, oil changes, etc. Primary goals are safe, efficient performance of all maintenance and repair tasks as defined in dealership processes and policies.

Duties:

• Performs basic and intermediate-level maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles
• Conducts multipoint inspections of customer vehicles to identify needed maintenance services and repairs
• Follows all required safety and hazardous materials procedures as required by dealership policies and regulations
• Uses and maintains dealership-provided tools and equipment in proper operating condition
• Personal tools required
• Documents inspection findings and maintenance requirements clearly and accurately and communicates them to the ASM
• Communicates proactively with other associates to ensure a smooth, safe flow of work through the TXM shop
• Quality-checks own work and the work of other Technicians as requested

Requirements:
