Job summary

Pace Analytical Services, LLC is seeking a lab technician to actively support the product engineering team with hands-on lab work and data analysis. The role focuses on sterilization-related testing of medical instrument materials in a shared lab environment.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a scientific field, lab experience, and strong communication skills. It offers a Monday–Friday schedule with a competitive $22.00 per hour wage and comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology or applicable scientific field.
• Lab experience with routine testing procedures and equipment.
• Experience with sterilizers or autoclaves is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication; active listening.
• Attention to detail and good time management.
• Ability to work independently after training.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and routine testing using sterilizing equipment to determine characteristics and performance of materials.
• Operate and maintain lab instruments including sterilization vessels.
• Prepare samples, analyze data, document results, and prepare detailed reports.
• Contribute to test method development and equipment qualification as needed.
• Document results in an electronic laboratory notebook (ELN) following standard practices.
