Job summary

Sotera Health in Gurnee, IL is seeking an Operator to coordinate all activities on the conveyor, load and unload product, and support the Shift Supervisor in safe operation. You will input data, prepare dosimeters, operate the dosimeter reader, and follow emergency procedures while maintaining quality and accuracy across work orders.

This role requires a High School Diploma, fluent English, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work established shifts; forklift experience is

Qualifications

Must have high school diploma or GED.
Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

Loads/unloads product into/from totes at conveyor stations.
Records input, dosimeter data and load/unload information.
Operates the dosimeter reader and prepares dosimeters for work orders.
Assembles processed dosimeters with run data sheets and sheets.
Reports system problems to supervisor and follows emergency procedures.
May assist maintenance and replace designated mechanical components.
