Job summary

Houston Methodist in Houston seeks a Sterile Processing Technician to decontaminate, assemble, inspect, wrap and sterilize instruments for surgical services and ancillary departments. You will work closely with OR staff to ensure timely sterile products, trays and case carts, while maintaining a smooth workflow and delivering excellent customer service.

Position requires High School diploma and Sterile Processing certification within 1 year, with formal Sterile Processing program preferred;

• Experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, assemble, inspect, wrap and sterilize instruments.
• Provide timely sterile products, trays and case carts to OR and departments.
• Sterilize instruments per manufacturer instructions and policy.
• Organize workload to maintain continuous workflow.
