Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Sr Sterile Processing Technician to maintain high standards for decontamination, assembly, inspection, wrapping, and sterilization of surgical instruments for Surgical Services and ancillary departments. You will support the OR with timely sterile products, trays, and case carts, ensuring continuous workflow and outstanding customer service.

The role requires certification (CRCST or CSPDT) and two years of sterile processing experience, with strong English

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of sterile processing experience.
• Sterile Processing certification: CRCST or CSPDT.

Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination and assembly of complex trays and instruments.
• Sterilize instruments and trays following manufacturer instructions.
• Identify and prioritize sterile products based on OR schedule.
• Maintain workflow between OR and Sterile Processing with excellent customer service.
