Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Nationally recognized Sterile Processing certification within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Answers calls and assists in locating items needed.
• Assembles supplies and prepares case carts for procedures.
• Delivers sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies to units.
• Maintains back-up case carts and ensures packaging integrity.
• Performs cleaning, decontamination, and packaging of instruments.
• Operates processing equipment and conducts monitoring activities.
