Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to clean, assemble, and sterilize operative instruments and supplies at the Davie Campus. You will perform daily autoclave checks, maintain logs, and ensure availability of sterile equipment for scheduled procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with CSPDT preferred but not required. This is a full-time position with daytime hours, supporting surgical teams in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Operates sterilization equipment and processes to produce sterile instruments.
• Inspects and assembles instrument sets; maintains logs and records.
• Monitors autoclaves and sterilization units; ensures readiness of supplies for procedures.
• Works with OR staff to provide clean, sterile instruments for posted procedures.
