Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to support the 37719 Atrium Health Cabarrus Sterile Processing Services. The role is full time, 40 hours per week, with a pay range of $20.80 - $31.20 per hour and benefits eligibility.

Responsibilities include safety adherence, equipment testing, sterilization, instrument inspection, packaging, and documentation of processes. Certification as CSPDT or CRCST is required, with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CSPDT or CRCST certification required.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to safety standards.
• Identifies, responds and reports malfunctions and alarms.
• Performs efficacy and quality testing for all processes and equipment.
• Performs sterilization (high temp steam and low temp methods).
• Identifies and prepares supplies for assembly.
• Inspects instruments for cleanliness and function.
• Packages and labels instrumentation per standards.
