Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with two years' experience in Sterile Processing.
• Certification as CSPDT or other sterile processing certification required; Management cert encouraged within three years of hire.
• Strong understanding of sterile processing and ability to guide SPD staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct SPD staff to meet department production requirements.
• Serve as SPD supervisor when assigned and assist with case carts management.
• Communicate instrument needs with SPD Supervisor, SPD Liaisons and OR Coordinators; ensure equipment functioning.
