Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. is seeking a motivated PRN Sterile Processing Technician for Chandler Orthopedic Center to join our team in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center environment.

The role involves caring for surgical instrumentation, preparing sets for cases, and maintaining sterile fields to support high-quality patient care. Prior SPD experience and familiarity with sterilizers are preferred.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have a high school diploma or GED.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred
• 1-2 years SPD experience; some SPD GI experience preferred.
• Experience with ordering preferred.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knows operating room instrumentation.
• Understands operation of steam/gravity sterilizer.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required
• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 10am to Close.

• Anticipates the needs of the surgical team.
• Establishes and maintains sterile field during surgical procedures in the operating room.
