Job summary

United Surgical Partners International (USPI) is seeking a motivated PRN Sterile Processing Technician for Roseville Surgery Center. You will care for surgical instrumentation, prepare instrument trays, and support Central Sterile Processing, OR, PreOp and PACU as needed, in a fast-paced ASC environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to sterile technique, with a Monday–Friday schedule and no on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Sterile Processing program.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification required.
• Sterile Processing experience in medical setting.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knows operating room instrumentation.
• Organized in setting up operating room instrument tray.
• Understands operation of steam/ gravity sterilizer.
• Understands Sterrad sterilizers.
• Ability to prepare reports and keep records.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed.
• Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians.
• Computer skills required.

Job Summary

The Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases. This position will have a high focus on Central Sterile Processing and OR support, and will assist in PreOp and PACU as needed maintaining a clean and orderly patient care environment assisting nursing staff with appropriate patient care support. Consistently demonstrates the primary goal of efficiently providing surgical services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.

Monday-Friday work schedule

NO call required

NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours

Starting pay Range: $25 - $38 per/hour, depending on experience
