Job summary

The Sterile Processing Technician at United Surgical Partners International, Inc. supports surgical services by maintaining and caring for all instruments and preparing supplies for cases. This role ensures sterility, readiness, and timely availability of instruments for procedures.

USPI partners with physicians to deliver ambulatory care nationwide; we value accuracy, teamwork, and adaptability in dynamic OR environments, with a focus on patient safety and high-quality instrument handling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience.
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program preferred.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed.

The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments. Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.
