Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician for the 40-hour work week on a day shift (9am-5:30pm) in Illinois. Responsibilities include cleaning, inspecting, assembling, sterilizing, and distributing surgical instruments with strict adherence to IFU, PPE, and Universal Precautions.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.

Responsibilities

• Disassembles, inspects, and prepares instruments for decontamination.
• Loads and operates washers and ultrasonic cleaners.
• Safely sterilizes and packages instruments for sterilization.
