Job summary

North Memorial Health in Minnesota is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to maintain quality by inspecting, cleaning, assembling and packaging instruments for sterilization under limited supervision.

You will perform sterile processing and distribution in the Central Processing Department, support patient safety, and adhere to Customer Service Standards. CBSPD/HPSA certification is required; high school diploma and program completion are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduation from an accredited Sterile Processing Technician program.
• CBSPD/HPSA certification required.
• One-year Sterile Processing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, clean, assemble and package surgical instruments for sterilization.
• Perform sterile processing and distribution within the Central Processing Department.
• Support patient safety and adhere to Customer Service Standards.
• Maintain quality, safety and infection control standards.
